Prairie Fire Children's Theatre, Robin Hood, Age 7-Gr. 8
#: 2000    ID:    Section:
Description:

Prairie Fire’s classic tale, “Robin Hood” is an action packed romp with something for everyone. Though set traditionally in the 12th century, complete with Faeries and Gnomes, Prairie Fire’s version features the Sheriff of Nottingham as a man ahead of his time…eight centuries ahead, in fact.  He is a visionary, and in his vision he see the trees of Sherwood Forest gone, and in their place stand “Sherwood Theme Park” and “The Mall of Nottingham.” In his way stands the environmentally conscious outlaw, Robin Hood. Become part of the cast  for this summer’s performance of “Robin Hood” and join in Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s tradition of presenting classic tales as you’ve never seen before.
No advance preparation is necessary. All pre-registered participants will receive a part in the cast. Part selection will take approximately two hours. All registrants are required to be in attendance the entire time, attending every rehearsal and both performances. Rehearsal schedules will be distributed following part selection. Some roles will require a short rehearsal immediately following cast announcements. A telephone will be available for the students to use after auditions. All rehearsals and performances will be held in the air-conditioned D-C PAC.
