These strength and conditioning camps are designed to provide total body conditioning, with a focus on sport specific training and exercises. They will address range of motion, strength, power, speed, agility, coordination, and how to reduce chance of injury from occurring. While injury prevention is the goal, enhancing athletic performance is a high priority through speed, strength, agility, and explosive power. Each athlete will be pre and post assessed in areas of power, speed, agility, muscular strength and endurance.
First year and beginner lifters who have completed grades 6-7 should enroll in the readiness program. This program spends more time focusing on the technique of the lifts while improving speed, strength, agility, explosive power and reducing injury. Once the lifter has mastered the technique they may move to the Varsity Program. Meet in the High School Commons the first day.
Those who attend 18 of 20 sessions will be refunded HALF of the early bird fee at the end of camp.
This program meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. No class July 2-6.
