Gain skills and confidence to be a great babysitter in a fun, fast-paced, interactive format. Hands-on activities, an exciting video, role play and lively discussions are incorporated into the class. Learn about babysitting responsibilities, basic child development, accident prevention, emergency actions, basic care of children, and practice in problem solving. Learn infant and junior rescue breathing as well as junior first aid skills. Students receive a reference guide, handbook, interactive CD and more. Students must be age 11 by the day of class. NOTE: Students should bring a doll (if they have one) and bag lunch. This class is taught by an American Red Cross certified instructor. Maximum 12.
