Description:
For individuals and families of all ages
Tim Barberg, local conservationist, will share about the plants and wildlife of the Dassel-Darwin Park as he leads us on a hike along the scenic trails. Barberg, a D-C graduate and resident of Dassel, has a degree in wildlife management from the University of MN and has been managing property for wildlife for 28 years. He will cover both prairie and woodland ecosystems. While the content covered on the hike will be appropriate for adults there will be a scavenger hunt provided for younger participants. Participants should wear good walking shoes, dress for the weather and bring along water for the hike. This event is offered in partnership with Dassel-Cokato Sustainable Living and the Dassel Public Library.
